Caustic soda flakes is obtained from sodium hydroxide – technical grade, by electrolytic process. It is a solid white, hygroscopic, odorless substance. Caustic soda flakes easily dissolves in water, with heat release. The product is soluble in methyl and ethyl alcohols.
